My ultimate aim is to paint up a stand full of Blood Bowl fans,
picking up and painting up models that fit the theme. My inspiration is this
picture from Star Players. I doubt I'll get a popkhorne-eating Great Unclean
One but who knows. The first fans to arrive are these two snotlings who seem to
have got themselves drunk on Orca-Cola...
The paintjob was quick but I challenged myself to paint the Orca Cola logo, which was based on Sp0ns’s Blood BowlAdvertisements on Talkfantasyfootball. It's recognisable at least! My attempt to paint a glass bottle is a pale imitation of those I found on C’tan ‘s ‘Liquid in a glass’ tutorial. Next up will be a goblin hooligan but aftre that I don't know what it'll be... Suggestions for good fan miniatures will be very welcome.
Amazing idea! Wizards with their arms in the air could be made to hold banners (thinking about the heroquest lich lord). I could also see a big Slaan with one of those hats that holds beers.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a Slann fan! That'd really capture the vibe I'm after. Time to scour ebay for models and the books for inspiration...
